Nishimura Works is an industrial equipment manufacturer in Saga Prefecture, Japan. We design, manufacture, and sell original products: the CD Dryer (Compact Disk Dryer) and the I-B Conveyor (Internal Bucket Conveyor.) Contact us for more information.

Nishimura Works

Improving and innovating industrial equipment is our calling.
No matter how much the performance of machines and equipment improves, customers will demand even better. Our mission at Nishimura Works is to respond to customer needs with the best knowledge and technology.

Our signature product, the disk-type liquid dryer, the CD Dryer, which holds the No. 1 share on the domestic and international markets, was developed in response to this kind of customer demand. Nishimura Works' product-development efforts have brought many other innovations to various industries and workplaces over the years. This approach and our basic stance remain unchanged as we head into our second century.

CD Dryer

Nishimura Works' leading product, the conductively heated disk type liquid-dryer, CD Dryer, is a high-performance, high-efficiency liquid dryer. Its installation area compared to drum dryers with the same drying surface area is a compact 40%. It is being used by many powder manufacturers as well as companies wishing to treat or recover resources from or reduce the volume of their waste water.

There are three variations which have evolved from the standard CD Dryer: the A-VCD Dryer, the E-CD Dryer, and the H-VCD Dryer.

A-VCD Dryer

The A-VCD Dryer offers stable drying and concentrating in a vacuum chamber. Its advantages include a highly airtight casing, disks designed for low or high-temperature applications, and its ability to continuously dry liquids in an oxygen-free environment by the introduction of nitrogen, etc. The boiling point of liquids can be lowered in the reduced pressure atmosphere making drying or concentrating possible at temperatures between 60℃ and 170℃. Of course, it inherits the energy and space savings that are characteristic of the standard CD Dryer.

A-VCD Dryer

E-CD Dryer

The use of electricity as a heat source for the E-CD Dryer reduces CO2 emissions from plants and helps achieve zero emissions through clean-energy operation. Like the CD Dryer, it is space-saving, easy to use, and suitable for a wide range of applications in a variety of settings.

E-CD Dryer

H-VCD Dryer

An energy-saving model that incorporates a heat pump system into the CD Dryer. The steam produced in the drying process is not released to the atmosphere but is compressed by the heat pump and reused as a heating source, thereby reducing energy consumption to a fraction. This makes it possible to dramatically reduce running costs compared to ordinary dryers.

H-VCD Dryer

Conveyors

Our second major product division is our industrial conveyors.

I-B Conveyor

Our vertical conveying equipment, the I-B Conveyor, has many advantages not available in external bucket conveyors, including extremely smooth loading, natural discharge, and optional rubber buckets to prevent adhesion of materials. A hopper drum designed for powders enables automatic recovery of floating dust which collects in the casing. Its sealed construction prevents dust from being released outside the machine, making it ideal for products that must not contact outside air.

I-B Conveyor

NZ Conveyor

When conveying loose material such as coal, ore, sand and grain, separate horizontal, vertical and inclined conveyors may be required depending on factory layout. The NZ Conveyor can relieve the inefficiency of multiple equipment and carry materials continuously in a single machine. Horizontal or vertical transport can be achieved with a single unit. The use of a single drive unit contributes to reduced energy consumption and noise.
